Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal data MichaelLogic Intelligence collects through michaellogic.eu, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. This site sets no cookies and does not track you across the internet. We only hold personal data if you choose to send us a message. Analytics are counted on our own server without cookies and without storing your IP address.
Who is responsible
MichaelLogic Intelligence, based in Zagreb, Croatia, is the data controller. Contact: hello@michaellogic.eu.
What we collect, and why
| Data | Why | Legal basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your name, email address and message, when you use the contact form or the chat assistant | To read your enquiry and reply to it | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries | Up to 24 months, then deleted |
| Anonymous usage counts: pages viewed, which sections were reached, which buttons were clicked, rough device size, browser language, and the website that referred you | To understand which parts of the site are useful | Our legitimate interest in improving the site, using data that cannot identify you | Up to 14 months |
| Standard web server logs kept automatically by our hosting provider | Security and fault diagnosis | Our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure | As retained by the host, typically a few weeks |
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and needs no cookie banner. The only thing stored in your browser is your language choice, if you press HR or EN, so the site remembers it on your next visit. That stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
How the analytics work
Visitor counting runs on our own server rather than through Google Analytics or any similar service. No data about you is shared with a third party. Specifically:
- Your IP address is never written to disk.
- To count returning visits within a single day, we create a one-way scrambled code from your IP address and browser type combined with a secret value and today's date. It cannot be reversed, and it changes every day, so visits cannot be linked from one day to the next.
- We record only the domain that referred you, never the full address, so search terms are not captured.
- If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded at all.
Payments
Payments are handled entirely by PayPal. Card and payment details are entered on PayPal's own systems and are never seen, processed or stored by us. PayPal acts as an independent controller for that data under its own privacy policy.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. It is handled by us and by the service providers who run our infrastructure:
- Namecheap, website hosting
- Hostinger, domain registration and email hosting
- PayPal, payment processing
- Cloudflare (cdnjs), which serves one graphics library used by the page. Loading it means your browser contacts that service and it will see your IP address, as happens with any file loaded from another domain. The site's fonts are hosted on our own server, not a third party.
Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area by these providers, in which case they rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You may also withdraw consent where consent was the basis for processing. Write to hello@michaellogic.eu and we will respond within 30 days, free of charge.
If you believe we have handled your data badly, you may complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Enquiries are stored in a location that is not reachable from the web. We keep the number of people and systems that touch your data as small as possible.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use existing data will be communicated directly to affected clients.
